The download is an executable jar, run 'java -jar aspectj-1.6.2.jar' and it will walk you through an install into a location where the ajc.bat script (and everything else) will be placed.

Hi all
I have downloaded aspectj-1.6.2.jar file from aspectj.
I have tried to install it as specified on website eclipse.org/aspectj
and set PATH as well as CLASSPATH. I have also installed jdk1.6. But I am not able to run ajc from command line. One more thing, I couldnt find bin directory of aspectj.
Please, tell me step by step process to install aspectj and set PATH and CLASSPATH for WindowXP system so that I am able to compile aspectj programs using ajc and also run them.
