Jacobson has a book out called 'Aspect-oriented software development'. In
it he details such things as : platform-specific vs platform-generic design, infrastructure vs application design and use cases, use case specific vs
base application elements and design. He even has a chapter devoted to
evaluating architecture. This may be of use to you for your project, as
well as a great book for instructing you in how to develop aspect-oriented systems.

My goal is to analyze and document the architecture an existing
eCommerce implementation. I'd like to use the framework of aspect-oriented
software architecture analysis to mine some non-trivial insights.
BTW, I am a novice in AOP; thanks for any knowledge pointers or guidance for a jumpstart.
