[aspectj-users] Developer's notebook for previous versions?

Hello everyone,

is there a documentation of how AspectJ is implemented for a version 
other than 5.0? I ask this because I'm interested in learning how 
traditional features of the language are weaved, such as before and 
after advices, etc. I haven't been able to find this on the website.
