[aspectj-users] Where's my M3?

The AspectJ development plan indicated that AspectJ 5 M3 should have
been released this Monday. Some of you may have noticed that this
didn't happen....

Implementing generics support in the weaver means updating the whole
type system that the weaver works with to be generics aware. These
changes are widespread and are taking longer to implement than we had
hoped. We are currently working (more than) full-time on finishing the
implementation so that we can release M3 as soon as possible. Please
bear with us on bug reports etc. as turnaround time is slower than we
would like whilst we focus all our energies on the generics push. We
are now making good progress, and will keep you up to date on
developments as they happen.
