You might want to constraint the warning to exclude the place(s) where you are setting the initial values. For example, if you are setting from the constructor of DistributionInvestmentPlanBindingQueries, try the following:

        declare error
                : set(public static String DistributionInvestmentPlanBindingQueries.*) && !withincode(DistributionInvestmentPlanBindingQueries.new(..))
                : "Don't do that.  See Adam for more details.";

final fields are inlined by the compiler. I believe this limitation is
documented in the AspectJ Programming Guide.
