[aspectj-users] Reading and writing the documentation

Hi folks -

A gentle reminder about posting...

Lately there have been a number of questions to the list
that are answered in the documentation, particularly in
the FAQ or the sample code, but sometimes in the examples
themselves or some portion of the dev guide. I realize
that some of these are not obvious places to look (and
that the sample code is only linked online), and I
apologize that they are not organized and indexed better,
but still...

If you post a question, please check the docs first.
If you post a reply, the best answer is to direct people
to the answer in the docs; that often answers not only the
immediate question, but also other questions that come up.
If the answer isn't in the docs, please say so, and nominate
your answer, explicitly if not by submitting a patch. That
way, the docs continually grow to cover the issues that people
have faced, and the mailing lists aren't burdened with
unnecessary support.

That said, I think everyone really appreciates when code is
posted, as a question or as a reply, so I'm all for that!

Thanks -
Wes
