RE: [aspectj-users] A new AspectJ project lead

(Sorry I didn't send mail sooner. I was traveling, without more
than rough email access.)

First, let me add to the appreciation already expressed for what
Jim has done. In addition to making sure that ajc and all the other
tools were high-quality products, Jim played an important role in
all other facets of the project, including the language design, how
AspectJ was presented to potential users, how users were supported,
how documentation and training materials were developed etc. I like
to stress that everyone on the AspectJ project played key roles, but
Jim played more than one, and extremely well.

Second, let me add to what others have already said about Adrian. I
was one of the people who said "well if we could get Adrian I don't
see how we could do better". Now we've got Adrian -- I don’t see
how we could do better!
