[aspectj-users] compiler origin

Sorry about posting my last question with a misleading subject.

This is definitely not a philosophical question!  ;-) 

 

I read that the ajc, the AspectJ compiler is based on IBM's Eclipse compiler.

Is the Eclipse compiler based on Jikes?
