RE: [aspectj-dev] JDK 1.6

Hi, Ron.

A few weeks ago I read in the specs that the upcoming bytecode version still allows to fallback to the "old" verification mechanism, *unless* you state a special commandline parameter when starting up the JVM. With the bytecode version that follows the upcoming one, the new scheme is then mandatory.

Generally, I think that for the necessary stackframe attributes should most definitely go into the bytecode manipulation kit and not in the AspectJ code base, since it is not at all specific to AspectJ.
