I agree with Adrian. I see this picture as a sign that AspectJ was
used to build the product. Why and how are details that AspectJ
documentation and evangilists must provide.

of real applications". It's a bit like "Intel inside". I'm often pleasantly
surprised to bump into folks using AspectJ in places I wouldn't have
expected. The goal of the logo from the AJ perspective is simply to raise
awareness that this is going on.
For example, if I see on the infoq site "powered by AspectJ" I can infer
that AspectJ is used "behind the scenes". But if I see "better AspectJ
modularity" I'm not sure I can infer anything? Perhaps that the infoq team
like AspectJ? But that's not as strong a message...
Maybe there's a way to work in both a key benefit that AspectJ gives, *and*
the fact that it was used to build the given application, but there's not
much space there!
