[aspectj-dev] Jar file for load-time weaving?

I just raised an enhancement request 
(http://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=73369) to consider making a 
load-time weaving jar file available as part of the AspectJ distribution. 
Basically this would involve the creation of a new jar that contains the 
subset of aspectjtools.jar needed for load-time weaving (gives about a 
6-fold size reduction). A few folks have asked me for this of late. For 
those interested in the discussion, the enhancement request raises a 
number of questions about whether this is a good idea, and if so how we 
should do it...
