This is a reminder that we will be hosting a special two-day AOP training
event called the Aspect Leadership Program (ALP) this March 14th and 15th.
It will be held in Vancouver, BC and collocated with the International
Aspect-Oriented Software Development Conference. Registration for ALP is now
open with an early registration price of $725 Canadian until Feb 9, with
regular registration costing $850 after that. There's also a special
discount of almost $300 if you register for both the Aspect Leadership
Program and TheServerSide Java Symposium.

ALP is an opportunity to learn from seven of the world's leading experts on
AOP, who will provide a two-day crash course on everything needed to
understand how to apply aspect-oriented programming (AOP) productively;
identify whether and how you can use it to add value, drive quality and
improve productivity in your enterprise; and provide practical guidance on
implementation.

Because it is co-hosted with the AOSD conference, ALP will offer a more
diverse set of speakers than training programs at single-vendor conferences
like Spring Experience or JBoss One. There's also more focus on AOP - depth
and breadth - that at events like No Fluff Just Stuff.

This is a great opportunity to dig deeper into how to use AOP from a
diversity of experts, and in more depth than is usually available. This is
also a great opportunity to encourage others to learn more, especially for
those who are already using AspectJ successfully. Please do pass on the
