Re: [aperi-dev] first Aperi try

Well, I think I oughta wade in and fix the version number in the R0.4 build of the rcpgui.
It shouldn't be vUNKNOWN.

Based on this information, would the following be true for the R4 installation instructions?:

Download JavaHelp 1.1.3
.

1.
Go to http://java.sun.com/products/javahelp/download_binary.html.
2.
Click the Download button under the JavaHelp 1.1.3 (Zip) section.
3.
Click Accept License Agreement.
4.
Click the down arrow to download the javahelp-1_1_3.zip file.
5.
Unzip the contents of javahelp-1_1_3.zip.
6.
Locate the \jh1.1.3\javahelp\lib\jh.jar file in the directory where you unzipped javahelp-1_1_3.zip.
7.
Copy jh.jar to [aperi_install_dir]\gui\plugins\javax.help_1.0.0.vUNKNOWN
8.
Copy jh.jar to [aperi_install_dir]\\plugins\javax.help_1.0.0

This is the "java help jar file not in the right place" exception.

You need to copy jh.jar to <INSTALLDIR>\gui\plugins\javax.help_1.0.0.vUNKNOWN

I think the old directions (for V0.3) don't include the ".vUNKNOWN" part

[aperi-dev] first Aperi try

Hi all,
first time I try Aperi on a Win2k3, install/config works fine, but from the
gui, I got following message:
