RE: [aperi-dev] Aperi Agent and QLogic HBA on Linux

Cristian,

We are investigating the root cause of your problem, but I recommend that you use the 0.3.1 build for your testing. Interim development builds are bound to have issues like this... and it may get frustrating.

In the common_trace.log I found this:

10:40:54.095+03:00 java.lang.Class querySerializer SANAgentHostQuery Did
not find serializer for
'org.eclipse.aperi.sanmgmt.subagent.common.HostQueryInfo' in standard
mapping registry, search extensions registry.
10:40:54.099+03:00 java.lang.Class querySerializer SANAgentHostQuery Did
not find serializer for
'org.eclipse.aperi.sanmgmt.subagent.common.HostQueryInfo' in the
extensions registry, use the Java Bean Serializer.

This is the only thing that looks like an error.

If you think it's necessary, I can send you all the agent logs.

The machine connected to the SAN is:
# uname -a
Linux <hostname> 2.6.14.6-vinery1 #1 SMP Thu Jan 12 12:50:16 EET 2006
x86_64 GNU/Linux
# cat /etc/debian_version
3.1

The machine runnig aperi server is:
# uname -a
Linux <hostname> 2.6.18-4-686 #1 SMP Mon Mar 26 17:17:36 UTC 2007 i686
GNU/Linux
# cat /etc/debian_version
4.0

Okay, thanks, next thing to check, various log files in
/opt/aperi/agent/log/*  Look for things that look like errors and post
them here.

BTW, what version of Linux are you running?
