[aperi-dev] EclipseCon short talk proposal...

Here is the proposed abstract for the Aperi short talk at the EclipseCon in March:  (please comment)
        http://www.eclipsecon.org/2007/index.php?page=subguidelines/

Aperi pushes the boundaries of Eclipse technology.  Aperi is an enterprise storage management solution consisting of a management console, robust server, and host agents distributed across the enterprise.  At the heart of every component, lives Eclipse technology.  This short talk describes Aperi's experience in using Eclipse as a replacement for the traditional J2EE application server.

Is Eclipse well-suited for the headless server?  We’ll share our experience.  We’ll dive into the logic and rational of our bundling strategy.  We have observed that thoughtful dependency management and componentization leads to increased efficiency during development and runtime.  We have also been pleased with our usage of third-party bundles like Jetty, and equinox components like the extensions registry.  Aperi plans to increase its usage of Eclipse technology and its community components.
