Reviewed items in
progress for EclipseCon:
P1 - Replace Service
Flow:
CVS - Proving
harder to install on the POC machine than thought. Will work to finalize this by
Monday/Tuesday.
Subversion - Working as a swap out for
Dimensions.
P2 -Expected Build Failure & Submit Bug
to Bugzilla:
Bugzilla is not proving to be practical to install on the POC
machine - it prefers Linux and we're on Windows. May try to get this working next week as time allows, but the
Bugzilla integration may not be in place for
EclipseCon.
Build failure is being
finalized.
Tim/Bob may add a Test Failure
as well.
P3 - Branching for Test and Scan
Options:
Tim is finalizing the implementation of this. Due
to time and other priorities, as well as the fact that the scan place in the use
case may be moved with future use cases, the team decided not to do Scan for
the EclipseCon demo.
P4 - Unexpected Build
Failure:
Might create some
sort of graphic to show how compensation works or use the Active BPEL to
show. Tim will work on this as a lower priority item next week as time
allows.
P5 - Service
Stubs:
Not yet started. If you have any ideas on how we
might structure this, please give it some thought. Will need to get Active
BPEL, Tomcat, Axis, etc. in addition to the stubs to use this. Added Doc
task to detail where to get these, how to install,
etc.
P6 -
Corona:
A joint positioning
statement and short presentation are being finalized. Ali will work
with Kevin to get these posted to the ALF site. The ALF team will meet
with the Corona team at EclipseCon on Tuesday at noon (at the Corona
booth).
P7 - VMware image for POC
partners:
Will finalize
after the demo is complete.
Note: All EclipseCon partners
need to make sure their licenses are valid beyond
EclipseCon.
ALF Presence at
EclipseCon:
1 Demo of ALF
1 Poster session of
ALF
1 Poster session jointly w/ALF &
Corona
1 Presentation of ALF by Steve
Taylor
In preparation for EclipseCon next week we'll have a
review session mid-week. Look for that meeting invite early next
week.
The project plan/tasks for the RC1 deliverable in
October are starting to be created. We'll begin to review/finalize these
after EclipseCon.
