[alf-events] Eclipse ALF POC Schedule Minutes Fri 10/28

Title: Eclipse ALF POC Schedule Meeting Tue 10/18 8:00 am PT

Key Decisions/Actions: (actions in
bold)
Software installation will be divided into 2 tasks - 1 to
coincide with the WSDL or Stub completion and 1 to coincide with the Service
completion. Status - completed in current project
plan.
Sample project will be Eclipse project in
Java. Must be testable, buildable, scanable,
runable. Homework for all - come up with suggestions that we
can decide at next meeting, possibly some that are currently
being used by the POC participants now. Try to keep it a small project so
it runs fairly quickly.
POC should strive to run through a few scenarios through
the same service flow - build passes, build fails, etc. This may not be possible
by the POC, but we might want to add a 2nd milestone end-January to do some of
the compensating services or possibly in March for the Eclipse conference.
There are also other partners that want to participate in demos that would be
good to get in some additional demos. We'll need to look at adding tasks and a
date for this in the near future. Mirinda will work with the team
to plan this once the POC is planned.
All POC participants will need a VMWare image.
Working to figure out how we get this license to all. May need to build 4
different images (and install software 4 times, etc.) One way is if
everyone has the Select license from Microsoft. Tim will follow up
via email with the POC participants. If anyone has ideas, let Tim
know.
Need to verify what version of Java we will run.
Also TomCat. Tim will send out a proposed list of versions for the
team to review.
All POC participants review the updated schedule
online. Red items are due this week. Blue items we still
need to finalize dates for. Purple items may be
removed.
