I agree that we need to do a better job of bringing the open source community on board. That said, we see the ALF project as being at least as important to our open source offerings as to our propietary work. At least we are an open source vendor.

More seriously, the discussions I've been hearing and reading recently have put a priority on getting more open source tools into the proof of concept demo. As I understand it, that means we will either need to bring more of the existing open community on board, or contribute some ALF plugins to those projects. I think that in the immediate future, the second path is more likely.
