How much of the work of the ALF teams is anticipated to take place through 
the conference calls, versus through the mailing lists?  I'm hoping to 
participate once I learn more about the direction of the project, and 
while I understand the value of concalls, they aren't good for the kind of 
transparency and accessibility that make Open Source projects work best. 
Are decisions being made on the calls?  Will summaries be posted to the 
list?
