try running eclipse -clean

Do you have any errors in your .log file?  Also check for errors in
eclipse/configuration/*.log

Also, there have been quite a few issues with the eclipse.org servers
since 3.4.2 came out.  It's slowing down mirroring.  Lots of people
have been having problems in all eclipse projects.  If you can get
eclipse running again, but AJDT isn't working you may have to revert
your configuration and re-update.  I believe that the servers are
running fine again.

I just updated to last night's build and things seem to be fine for me.
