Hi, I'd like to raise a concern, hopefully without offending a lot of hard working volunteers. As far as I can tell, no one has been reading and responding to the AJDT inbox in the last few weeks, and I'm seriously considering abandoning AJ due to what I consider a showstopper: - full build on each modification - having to restart JVM when debugging, as hot code replace is prevented because of hte full rebuild. As someone who's new to AspectJ, I had the impression that it had a fair deal of support as with other Eclipse projects... with perhaps some full time staff. Is this not the case? I've reported a bug, as have many others, and it would be really useful if someone were triaging them and getting any other information required from people like me, before we've given up and gone elsewhere. Hope this doesn't land as too much of an insult... certainly not meant that way... just feeling a little frustrated at inputting bugs into a black hole. Cheers, Neale |
