Takari Concurrent Local Repository is an Aether plugin that makes local repositories support concurrent artifact downloads (using of lock files). It seems to work very well, and I’ve been wandering whether this code is to be merged into core Aether any time soon. Given that without it concurrent downloads simply fail, It seems like it should even be the default local repo implementation.
