Summary says it all.
Check which control keys are used by editor and compare to navigate.

This can already be achieve via the menu bar: use TAB to navigate to the Search 
view's menu bar and then <- or -> to select the corresponding menu bar item.

We now decided to use ctr+e and ctrl+shift+e for this
