Compare project with stream contents. Right-click in the tree viewer in the compare view. I got an empty menu. NOTES: KM (6/14/01 3:52:21 PM) On NT I just don't get a menu. Is there supposed to be something in the menu? (not clear what we could allow someone to do here) JEM (6/14/01 4:14:24 PM) I think there is a convention like an item labelled <Empty Menu> or something like that if the menu is intentionally empty. JohnA (6/14/2001 4:17:36 PM) This would be a compare FW PR. VCM knows nothing about that menu. I believe that menu used to contain our friends "Copy selected nodes from left to right", etc. I guess Andre decided to remove them completely. I thought he would remove them from the toolbar but leave them in the compare editor context menu. AW (13.08.2001 10:54:44) From John A: Hi Andre, from usability discussions, they thought the "copy selected nodes from left to right" buttons in the structure view were confusing. They really mimic the catchup/release menu items when in the catchup/release view. Maybe they shouldn't appear in the structure view toolbar, but just in the context menu. That way, I can exclude them completely from the catchup/release view. They would only appear in the context menu of other compare editors, where they make more sense. Currently there is a confusing array of operations for copying things from local->server and vice-versa, and it seems confusing.

*** Bug 2851 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
Fixed for > 20020124. If StructureDiffView menu would be empty, a disabled item "<Empty Menu>" is automatically shown.
