The external tools plug-in needs information about the script targets. In 2.0 
they implement their own mechanism to parse the script and extract the 
information they need. The problem is that under various circunstances the 
external tools implementation differs from the Ant implementation given the 
user a different behaviour when exposing the script through the UI and just 
executing it.

The Ant support should provide the necessary API so that the external tools 
can just use and get the same results as "plain" Ant.
