Description Jared Burns CLA 2002-03-18 09:57:49 EST
We should allow the user to turn off the structured comparison feature. For
those who don't use it, it only serves to gobble up CPU cycles.

We use the DiffTreeViewer, which is from the compare framework. Moving to
compare, as such a setting would be implemented by them. (Note that you get the
same structured comparison when using Compare With Each Other, so it's not just
a matter of us implementing our own tree viewer to get rid of this behaviour).

Andre, is such a setting possible?
Comment 2 Andre Weinand CLA 2002-03-18 13:06:41 EST
Yes, will be in M5
Comment 3 Andre Weinand CLA 2002-04-05 08:10:55 EST
fixed for M5.
There is a new option on the preference page.
