Have JDT UI and required plug-ins in the workspace, type Ctrl+Shift+T and enter
"IDE3"
==> no match.

I'd expect to see "IDocumentExtension3"

NOTE: Entering "IDE*3" works.

Moving to JDT/Core since they own the camel case routine now ;-).

In general I support the idea of treating numbers as upper case characters.
