The properties file editor should become public API. I have a project where I'd
like to reuse the PropertiesFileEditor, the
PropertiesFileSourceViewerConfiguration and the PropertiesFileDocumentProvider.
I think that PDE might be also interested in this.

Same here - we are currently reusing the standard TextEditor, but PropertiesFileEditor would be much nicer for given use.
