I have two versions of a CVS project in two separate workspaces.  That is, one
is HEAD and the other is a branch.

If I close the HEAD version project and open the branch version project, Open
Type does not allow me to open any of the types any more.  It looks like it is
not re-indexing.

Moving to JDT/Core. Sounds like a problem with the search indexes.

I cannot reproduce the problem. Do you have detail steps that I could follow ?

Not sure what else to add.  

I have just noticed that it does say re-indexing in the Open Type dialog but
stops at 50%.  Restarting Eclipse fixes the problem and initiaties a re-index on
Open Type.

I'll experiment with other combinations and see if I can get more info.
