In a Java perspective, hover the mouse over the Packages view tool bar.
You get an extra-large flashy tooltip containing a tree view of the Java Model.
Must be somebody's debug code.

The odd text appears to be coming from the TreeFrame constructor. I put a 
breakpoint in JavaModel.toStringInfo() and then launched Eclipse. (copystack is 
currently disabled in the debugger so I cannot provide the stack trace)
