There is no difference
There is no difference between these two files, yet it shows in the compare &
synchronize tree view...
Ignore whitespace is turned on.
Øyvind
The two files differ only in Windows vs. Linux line endings... oharboe@fury:~/cdtplugin$ ls -l cdt/org.eclipse.cdt.core/.classpath -rw-r--r-- 1 oharboe oharboe 610 Dec 8 15:44 cdt/org.eclipse.cdt.core/.classpath oharboe@fury:~/cdtplugin$ ls -l org.eclipse.cdt.core/.classpath -rwxrw---- 1 oharboe oharboe 624 Jul 28 08:55 org.eclipse.cdt.core/.classpath oharboe@fury:~/cdtplugin$ Øyvind Created attachment 16489 [details]
Fixes the problem on my rocket
If ignore whitespace is turned on, the treenode should not be shown for files
where only whitespace differs.
The implementation is broken, but it points out the trouble spot.
Consider this a request to target this problem for 3.2... Without this fix, the "Ignore whitespace" is not effective for directory trees. This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant. |
