Description MG CLA 2004-12-03 18:05:12 EST
the whitespace is not highlighted in the java source compare orginal or result
preview window.

In the case where whitespace is added it should be showed in the result as a
highlight section. In the case where whitespace is deleted it should be shown
in the original as a highlighted blue section. If the ignore whitespace
checkbox is enabled then it should function as is and highlight nothing.

The white space highlighting seems to work fine for me.

As for the second issue, which is coloring different kind of changes/white spaces, it looks to be a different story. I would open a new bug for it or change the title of this one.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
