Okay, as near as I can figure (by putting in printlns), a new location is created when: + A file is opened. + A compilation unit is clicked in the Outline view. + F3 or some other navigation command is used. I assume that by "minor cursor movements" you mean using navigation commands to move around the file, but that those navigations commands don't actually move that far within the file (i.e., the old location remains visible). In general, I don't think we're looking to change NavigationHistory at this time. If you're interested in writing a patch to improve what we already have, I would be interested in seeing it. Moving Dougs bugs Remy is now responsible for watching the [EditorMgmt] component area. This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant. |
