Help->Install New Software... opens a dialog with blank default selections (Good)
and so 0-line details (Ok).

When a sensible selection is made, the details fails to expand to make it visible (Bad). Expanding it manually is slightly awkward becuase of a strange positioning of the empty widget. But it can be done.

Once done, the user expanded size is not retained as a user preferemce for a reopening of the Dialog.
