On OS X 10.14.6, Eclipse 2020-12, light theme with straight tabs: there is no separator line between inactive tabs visible, and on hover there is no indication (highlight) of the tab being hovered over.

In system and dark theme, there is also no line, but at least there is a highlight on hover (gray to white in system theme, dark gray to black in dark theme).

Having neither highlight nor a separator line between inactive tabs is confusing.

(With round tabs, one gets at least the outline drawn on the hovered-over tab.)
