Error log useless

Bug 545270 fixed a flaw in the error reporting of the evaluation framework. Since this patch, I am seeing a flood of errors that are not caused by Eclipse but that makes the error log useless.

Please see the attached movie on the current state of the error log with misbehaving plugins.

There is a "Filter" in the error log but the help is not clear on how it should be used. When I paste the text of the error in the filter, it does not remove that error from the log.

Ideally, I would be able to select the entry in the error log and say "ignore". That would ignore that error for the rest of the session.
