I managed to pass first start workspace config window and noticed that splash screen is always displayed (fully) in the upper right corner with small margins from the screen edge on top and left size. My assumption is that somewhere there is hard coded expected resolution of the screen, which messes up position of splash screen and first configuration window. |
Created attachment 283430 [details] Screenshot of visible portion of the window Eclipse 2020-06 OS: Fedora 32 Display resolution: 2560x1440, 100% (single monitor) Downloaded installer from official Eclipse web page, installed Java EE package, after installation is complete, clicked big green "Launch" button and just part of Window is shown (see attachment). This mini window can't be resized, chosen workspace path can't be scrolled to be seen, no confirmation button is visible so it is impossible to confirm or modify default choice
