which Build is this ?Can't reproduce this with 10.14.6 and 23rd June build. What are the other plugins installed? Is it reproducible on Eclipse SDK with new workspace? Version: 2020-06 (4.16.0) Build id: 20200615-1200 (Committers EPP) Mac OSX 10.15.5 Thunderbolt Display (main) Dell (secondary, portrait mode) (In reply to Sarika Sinha from comment #1) > Is it reproducible on Eclipse SDK with > new workspace? Confirmed. It's reproducible with 4.16 SDK and fresh workspace. Looks like a Mac OSX 10.15 issue. Adding Lakshmi. I'm unable to reproduce the issue with 4.16, macOS 10.15.5 and Java 14.0.1. If I shrink the dialog it resizes back to it's original size on selecting a launch config. If I increase the dialog width, no resize happens on selecting a launch config. What is the Java version used? Do you see this on earlier Eclipse versions as well? java.vendor=Azul Systems, Inc. java.vendor.url=http://www.azulsystems.com/ java.vendor.url.bug=http://www.azulsystems.com/support/ java.vendor.version=Zulu11.38+12-SA java.version=11.0.6.0.101 java.version.date=2020-04-14 java.vm.compressedOopsMode=32-bit java.vm.info=mixed mode java.vm.name=OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM It might be another issue which is triggered by a multi-monitor setup. I cannot reproduce this on my Macbook Pro (also 10.15.5) either. It only happens on my desktop Mac Pro (an old black trash can) AMD FirePro D500 Slot-1: No Display Connected AMD FirePro D500 Slot-2: Thunderbolt Display: Display Type: LCD Resolution: 2560 x 1440 (QHD/WQHD - Wide Quad High Definition) UI Looks like: 2560 x 1440 Framebuffer Depth: 30-Bit Color (ARGB2101010) Main Display: Yes Mirror: Off Online: Yes Rotation: Supported Automatically Adjust Brightness: No Connection Type: Thunderbolt/DisplayPort DELL U2718Q: Resolution: 2880 x 5120 UI Looks like: 1440 x 2560 @ 60 Hz Framebuffer Depth: 30-Bit Color (ARGB2101010) Mirror: Off Online: Yes Rotation: 270 Automatically Adjust Brightness: No Connection Type: Thunderbolt/DisplayPort |
Created attachment 283409 [details] Screen Recording It's an annoying bug in Eclipse 2020-06. Whenever I select a launch config the dialog resizes itself to maximum display hight and a small width.
