This has been fixed for Eclipse 4.30 (2023-12) with https://github.com/eclipse-platform/eclipse.platform.ui/commit/5ee9c26b5a1a48c86f4ecdb1c6cdf39ba7dc2b0b |
Created attachment 283391 [details] Generic editor pollutes other editors with a duplicate "Find References" menu entry The generic editor adds an extra (disabled) menu entry for "Find references" in the context menu of other editors. As an example I attached a screenshot of the context menu of an Xtext editor with a duplicated "Find References". The duplicate menu contribution is defined in the `org.eclipse.ui.genericeditor` plugin.
