Example of extra quote mark

If typing in the HTML editor some text midway through an HTML document, Smart Insert Mode adds extra quote marks. I have all auto-complete options disabled.

Disabling Smart Insert Mode prevents the above bug but has to be done every time a file is opened.

See screenshot for an example. The third quote mark does not belong and was added after the cursor erroneously. Happens every time.

This is most likely not a bug related to Eclipse Platform, but related to the specific editor you are using. Which editor are you using to edit the HTML? (The Eclipse package you are using can give hints on which editor is used?)
