See animated GIF of me moving a selected library up to the top. Observe how the selected library becomes unselected.

Using Eclipse IDE for Enterprise Java Developers.

Version: 2020-03 RC1 (4.15.0RC1)
Build id: 20200305-1156

This existed in 4.14 also, (2019-12).

The issue is, when moving a selected library (where the library has its checkbox ticked) up to the top in the Project Properties > Java Build Path > Order and Export tab, the selected library becomes unselected (checkmark has been unticked) once it is at the top of the list.

I consider this to be a bug, as the operation of moving the library up to the top should not change the state of the library dependencies order.

Attached a GIF for show-and-tell.

Thanks.

Is this a regression in 4.15?
Can you reproduce this with a simple Java project?

Sorry, I see you have already mentioned that is at least in 4.14.
So was this a regression in 4.14?

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
