where do I click??

When installing the Eierlegende Wollmilchsau, the most fundamental elements in the toolbar are somewhat hidden.

I hold that these should have a fixed position at the top right corner.

These items are always the last items in the window toolbar/trimbar. As a result, they will be shown in the bottom-right of the toolbar.

Why do you expect them to be in the top right?

Because I consider these top-level, high-priority buttons that should not be buried in tons of other icons. IMHO, users should never need to spend any number of milliseconds searching for the Quick Access icon (or whatever it is called now). Otherwise it doesn't carry its own weight.

All this is fine if the toolbar isn't overcrowded, but assuming all icons to fit on one line certainly doesn't work :)

Note, that "bottom of the toolbar" is not a prominent area, not trivial to locate, when there's another view below that contributes its own toolbar. So those icons are 'swimming in the middle of a sea of buttons & icons'.
