If I maximize my window, it flickers a few times (I guess the window is redrawn during this operation).

Could it be possible to turn redraw off during maximize to avoid this flickering and potentially improve performance?

Maximize View does not flicker, maybe this operation already turns redraw off?

I'm experiencing the same issue on Debian unstable with GNOME.

i've just tried Eclipse 2020-03 and the problem has not been fixed :(
