Our testers have found that 640x480 is not enough to display some dialogs, 
e.g., the import/export dialogs have fields that are inaccessible in the lower 
resolutions (and the dialog is not resizable).

If 800x600 was the intended minimum, it should be stated somewhere in the 
programmer documentation.  FWIW, Windows seems to stick by the 640x480 minimum 
(or at least I was unable to find an exception).

Min resolution for 2.1 is 1024x768.
