Comment 1 Dani Megert CLA 2001-11-05 04:56:45 EST
Could not reporduce the NPE on the actual code base (build 20011101) but there
are problems exporting class files which are not produced through compilation of
an exisiting source (.java) file:
1) class files (as source) in source folders are not visible in the Packages
view nor in the JAR exporter (but they are exported correctly if the
corresponding folder is selected) <== possible workaround
2) class files in a class folder are not visible in the JAR exporter and they
are not exported even if the whole project is selected

WORKAROUND:
Generate the class files in a source folder

Suggest to fix 2) i.e. allow class folders to be exported.

Also tried to reproduce the NPE by selecting class files in the Navigator
without success.

Until now no test case or build id posted after asking for it.
Still waiting...

1) works as soon as bug 5583 is fixed (added as dependent)
2) is now implemented - not released yet - needs testing

As of now 'LATER' and 'REMIND' resolutions are no longer supported.
Please reopen this bug if it is still valid for you.
