When working on my laptop, scrolling with the touchpad makes the code editor lag. I can see the line numbers scroll smoothly, but the text stutters heavily. Plugging in a mouse and using the scroll wheel on it works correctly, it's only on the touchpad.  Lag usually is between 1/4 and 1/2 second until the editor catches up.

Specs:
Core i7-8750H, 16GB ram, nvme drive. Elan trackpad drivers.
