Project explorer has the sync button. Which keeps the selected editor in sync with the project explorer.

IntelliJ has a "Show selected editor" which IMHO is much easier to use. I typically set the sync button but in most cases I only want to see some file. So while I can turn it on and off in Eclipse the current solution in Intellij is IMHO much better for the user flow.

I suggest to add a similar button in addition to the existing button.

"Show selected editor" in IntelliJ reveals the file in their project explorer if the user presses the button.

Maybe we can clarify it in the tool tip, but a second button is definitely overkill.

And of course we would have to make the changes everywhere where we have the Link icon already.
