for &nbsp it throws an error on the "&" symbol and for hidden it says it must have "=" which is not correct

Correct usage of non-breaking spaces requires the trailing semi-colon, e.g. &nbsp;

Which version of Eclipse/WTP did you see this in, and what version of HTML are you using?
