If I run search and replace and check the changes in the preview mode, it would be very nice if I could adjust the review result.

I do this very often and frequently a search and replace is to 95% correct. Would be nice to adjust the ones which are not correct directly in the preview.

Note for myself, the compare editor for changes in Git allows editing.

Yes, edit would be desired.

This would probably have to go into the LTK refactoring infrastructure.

BTW: Please stop readding a target milestone unless you take the bug and plan to fix it for that milestone.
