When the begining or ending of an edge is very close to another node than the source or target one, then it hide some parts of it.

For nodes very small it make the selection really difficult because only hald of the node are usable to select it.

Step to reproduce : 
-Open the diagram "new diag_ecore" of the attached project
-Try to select the node not link to an edge by clicking the upper part.
-The edge will be selected instead of the node.

A mouse click has happened in the upper part of the node edgeless but it is the edge that has been selected

Thanks for your detailed bug report.
We have reproduced this issue and we consider it as valid.
Nevertheless, we have currently not planned to work on it in the following releases.
